Blasts from the past; and the single life
Jul. 13th, 2006 10:50 pmIn the last couple of weeks, I have either run into or heard from a large number of old friends and contacts. In unrelated news, I am a bad bachelorette. With Azure still in Minneapolis for a few days, I have more free time than I know what to do with. But instead of cooking myself good meals or going out and being social, I have been working long hours and eating pizza. Okay, that's only two dinners of pizza, but I am glad that it's gone now so I can't do that any more. Thankfully, the aforementioned influx of old friends should help to clear up the social drought, and pull me out of my shell. Perhaps part of it is the post-Con, post-hyper-social withdrawal that almost everyone seems to suffer.

I biked all the way home from work and managed to not get hit by any cars. I think I am going to make this experiment again tomorrow, but only if I can think of a way that does not involve going up long long steep hills, or carrying my bike up 120+ stairs. I will now go stare at a map, drink my OJ-and-tequila, and then have a bath. mmm. I miss my honey. Take good care of him for me, Minneapolis.
