So. I have finished my last course of grad school. (I am not done with grad school altogether because I have to finish my Big Paper yet. But still.) Despite my misgivings, I managed to do as well in that course as I have in all of my others. The dean (and instructor of that course) said I should look into the Interactive Journalism program at SOC to use my tuition remission; I said I'd have to think about it. It sounds cool but I don't think I want to be a journalist. Anyway, it was a good ending.

I have been working at my job for over a month now. I am less anxious about it than I was when I started, but it's still hard. I look forward to it getting easier.

Last weekend I got to have the delight of spending a whole weekend doing no homework at all. And not feeling guilty about it. Boy, that felt good!

On Sunday, I graduate. ... Where did the time go?

Go, you.

And I say that journalism is a broad umbrella, which also spreads over blogging. And that journalistic writing is entirely unlike the usual academic writing that is so ground into you now, and that the perspective is sometimes useful to have (says the woman with three writing styles jostling in her head).
