Sep. 13th, 2010 10:47 amThis weekend was about half stress and half distraction from stress. Friday there were games, and Saturday there was the farmer's market, and a bike ride (and beautiful weather for it), and a lovely music party at
minnehaha's, where
azure_armand enjoyed drumming and I even got to sing eventually. We caught free music at the Lowertown Concrete and Grass festival a few times, and enjoyed the variety.
Sunday was almost entirely devoted to co-op work. Well, from noon until about 8 PM, off and on. That's more hours in one day than the amount of hours I'm supposed to spend on co-op work for a month, incidentally. Thankfully, I think things are largely getting resolved. Not everyone is happy, but I think we're doing what's right, and that will have to do.
We watched the MN Rollergirls face off against the Windy City Rollers, and they played well, but didn't make it. After my viewing (online, since the game was in Green Bay) was interrupted by more lofts business, I decided Sunday had to end with a trip to Barrio for their $4 margaritas. That helped. Mostly, my dear husband helped. He's pretty great.
