P.S. It's funny, but it takes me the same amount of time to commute to work by: bike, bike + bus + bike, bike + metro + bike, walk + bus + walk, walk + bus + shuttle.

A bit too far, I think, and some fairly heavy traffic on the way. I am a full-time public transport plus walking commuter, tho. **adjusts green-tinged halo**

Yesterday was one of the very few days I did not bike to work cuz, well, I didn't go to work, nor did I even see the light of day. Would have been great to see everybody out there. I suspect participation was high overall here in SF.

If I bike from here to down town, then catch the bus from there, I can actually leave the house about 15 minutes later than if I catch the bus near my house.
