figmentIt's been a good weekend so far, if not overpoweringly exciting. Beautiful weather, so we walked to a bar about a mile away on Friday night and enjoyed the weather on the way there and back (alas no patio at said bar). And on Saturday our usual mile or so trek to the organic market was really nice thanks to sunny-and-85 weather. Wow! Last night we hit a pub nearby that DID have a patio, and played Rock Band, which succeeds at being fun (albeit harder) even when you are drunk. Today we had a lovely long bike ride in Rock Creek Park. What a beautiful place. We tossed around the idea of going camping in Shenandoah one more time before we move. I hope we can do that.
I also worked on my wedding dress a lot. The short dress is now fitted, lined, topstitched, and pinned preparatory to hemming. Now I just have to get Azure to come watch Lost with me while I handsew that. I really like the way it's coming together.
