Thank goodness I'm right-handed and it's the left one out of commission or I'd be even grumpier!

Actually, I believe something like 55% of your typing is done with your left hand. But your right hand is more useful for any number of other things, so it's still a good deal, insofar as a fracture can ever be a good deal.
