Well, that was counterproductive. This morning, I put a band-aid (with some neosporin) on my arm where I had, as I will oh-so-maturely refer to it, an owie. An hour or so ago, I took the band-aid off because I was getting into the shower, and it took a layer of skin with it!

I guess those "flexible fabric" band-aids aren't playing around about how sticky they are. I had even exercised (and sweated) under that band-aid!

Ow.

Band-aid brand, actually. I made the mistake of sticking it on some delicate skin (inner arm); I won't do that again.

I think proper owie treatment is to get that dude of yours to kiss it and make it better.

You're totally right. Especially because the owie is near my armpit, and what's more romantic than getting someone to kiss (near) my armpit?

i am a flexible fabric bandaid connoisseur. here is my advice.

first, the walgreens house brand flexible fabric ones are my favorite. i have developed this preference over decades of chewing on myself and then needing bandaids to staunch the bleeding.

second, they usually come off relatively well once you're *in* the shower. give it a few minutes (wash your hair first or something) and then it should come off more easily.

i knew this specialized knowledge would come in handy. ;)
