apparently my textlj idea failed, maybe because the message was too long (over 160 char)

I am home from the hospital. They were able to do the smaller procedure, hooray, and apparently everything went fine. I am woozy still from the anesthetic and my middle certainly has new kinds of hurt going on, but I am now officially on the road to getting better.

It was great to go into this, knowing I had such a wonderful support network. Thank you all for being part of that.

Thank you, and likewise. I am sorry for your plan-upsetting. It is deeply frustrating when that happens.

Yay for being better.

Given what you had for surgury....you may want to lay off comedies for a while. Laughing with stitches in that general area sounds...painful.

course what do I know

Yeah, you're right - no rolling-in-the-aisles comedies, anyway. Though they didn't actually have to stitch me (they used glue!) the principle is still the same - coughing, laughing, etc. is not so much fun. :-/ oh well. It'll get better soon.

Wonderful. Well, not about the hurting, but about the road to recovery part. :)

Me too. I really really wanted to come home yesterday and it took me several hours longer than I'd wished, mostly just to throw off the worst of the anesthesia effects...but it was doubtless what I needed... and I am so glad to be here. Thanks!

All in all, I can think of better ways to have lots and lots of enforced media time. Get well soon.
