Calm

Today is a little island of calm in the middle of a fun, but generally busy, vacation. So far, that vacation has included, in no particular order:
Time with azure_armand's family
Going out dancing for the first time in ages, and actually making it on to the dance floor for a little while
...and seeing gobs of people there
Seeing some people in smaller numbers, which is really nice for actually getting to talk and catch up
Being helpful with alisgray and saracura's store, and only minorly dinging myself up in the process
...Although having my shoes stolen in the process sure did suck
...But then getting new shoes is really nice and totally more than makes up for the original theft, leaving me with a confused mixture of feelings but distinctly happy feet
More eating out than I really need to do
Sunshine
Reading
Catching up on work stuff, but not spending too long on it

It's possible that later today will involve going to Flabra's, but I'm not sure. I'm kind of enjoying the low-number-of-people day, right now. Which is weird, I know, because it's the 4th and everyone else is enjoying seeing a million people on their one day off.

It's also possible that later today will involve more being helpful, but again, we'll see. I do like being helpful, though. In the spirit of being helpful, I will now go and take a look at the CON grid now and see when I want to volunteer for what...

I am also enjoying a low # people day, at least so far. It is greatly necessary to have quiet time!
