Like anyone involved in academia (I think) I cannot wait for the academic year to be done. Just ... one... more ... month...

Nice. The wedding was nice, anyway. The trip was short. I am overcommitment girl and decided it would be smart to go to a wedding in Philly on Saturday and then help people move out Bethesda-Gaithersburg way on Sunday. I am soooo smart. But the weekend was pretty good. We did get to see a bit of Philly too.

Actually, I the summer part of the academic calendar. As sweetie is in charge of physical plant network management, all his capital expense projects must be done between the start of the fiscal year(July 1) and the start of school ~Aug27 or so. Add to this equation that school doesn't get out till the first week of June.

I'm frankly tired of summers with stressed out overworked sweeties. Add to that I intensely dislike his management and you have a really big possibility for fun.

Mmm. Yes, that sucks. That's a heck of a lot of projects to finish in a couple of months. I suppose we do the same thing at AU... at least I know I'm working on a project to redo a classroom, which of course has to be done in summer. Mmmph.
