I have a job!
Mar. 29th, 2006 10:50 pmI've accepted a position I didn't tell you all about before: Assistant Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence at AU. This is a job at the place I've worked for a couple of years as a grad fellow, but it's a fairly substantial promotion. It's also full-time, well-paid, with benefits: A Real Job.
Plus points: I like the people, I'm happy about the job, and major plus, I don't have to look for another job until I want to (at least a year I think, probably more like two). I can take courses at AU for free, finish my degree, build some valuable skills... Hooray!
Minus: I start NOW. I have to suck all of the knowledge out of the current Assistant Director's head in the next two days. But I still need/want/plan to graduate in May. Wish me luck!

I realize from
hypoxia's post that this must have happened because I just printed 25 beautiful copies of my resume on fancy paper, and bought a padfolio thingy. Heh.
