The Good Body
Jan. 17th, 2006 10:46 pmWe just went to see The Good Body at the Lincoln Theatre. It was awesome.
It's written by (and was performed by!) the writer of The Vagina Monologues, and was a fascinating and excellent blend of tragic, comic, big and little personal stories about how we live in our bodies and relate to them, how we hate them and (sometimes) love them and try to change them and so on. It's stuff many of us have talked about before; I think most of you should see it. Maybe all of you.
If you can, see it like I did: for free, with great seats, good friends, in a good theatre. Then go have vegetarian chili, french fries, and a milkshake at Ben's Chili Bowl. Finish by enjoying a 14-block walk home through the spring-warm air.
