(no subject)

I had a good birthday - went to work but did not work too hard, :-) had a little birthday cake and flowers at work, got my hair cut quite short at the Hair Police, where Rachel (the stylist) was a sweetie and gave me a $20 price instead of the usual $35... then we had dinner at Muddy Waters, which was unexpected and delicious. Joe gave me a lovely thoughtful gift. Sadly, he was not feeling well, so we went home after that, and spent the rest of the evening more quietly. Hopefully he will feel better soon!
