May. 18th, 2009 10:01 amThe weekend was good - saw friends, some much needed socializing and girly time complete with pedicure, Rock Band, etc. - but I think the coolest thing we did was compete in the Washington Post Hunt. About 10,000 people participated in this puzzle hunt which was spread out in downtown DC, and included a fake political debate, faux monuments, and new & mysterious statuary. We did pretty well - made it through the five main puzzles and partway through the endgame - before we got stumped, got cold and tired, and decided to throw in the towel. It was a great way to spend 4 or 5 hours on Sunday. It makes me look forward to being involved in the smaller, homegrown MN puzzlequests!
