May. 11th, 2009 09:32 amFriday night: BBQ graduation party; we got to enjoy the outside and have a good time. I only cried a little at the end, saying goodbye see you later to my friend K.
Saturday: sewing. Creating the pattern for the overskirt to my wedding dress was harder than I thought it would be, but ultimately worked out. Made lots of progress on this, both Saturday and Sunday. Am very happy with how it is coming out, and with my success on the invisible zipper installation. Also, yes, I love my serger. Saw friends on Saturday night.
Sunday: social. Called the Moms; had lunch with one pair of friends we hadn't seen in a while; then later saw Star Trek and had dinner with other friends. Star Trek made me really happy - it was really good. Also applied for a job. Wish me luck.
