I was at a conference all day today. It was really good to get back to thinking about the stuff I like to do academically. I found myself pondering if there was good research that I could do about TCKs. I've read a lot of the research that does exist, already... I'm sure there are some holes.

I firmed up one good connection in MN that might result in something positive job-wise, you never know. And it was really nice to do something very different from work.

More conference tomorrow. Also birthday! Must decide between burlesque and Watchmen to celebrate. Such dissimilar options.
