Flashy

I just downloaded the trial version of Flash 8 today. I'm having way too much fun playing with it. I've never used Flash before or done any kind of animations, but today I did this, and I think it's nifty. fayde, did you realize that the sun was setting as you stood on the beach in SF?

P.S. I realize it's probably lame and cheesy to many of you with more skillz than I have, but I am entertained by this and enthusiastic about this software!

...I suppose I ought to go do some actual homework now. This stuff is something I can use for a couple of web projects I'm working on, but it's hardly vital...

On a more serious note... I'm not happy to be looking for plane tickets because a memorial service is probably approaching soon. I really would wish for almost any other reason to be going back to MN.

But I am, well, relieved, to see that I will probably at least be able to afford the ticket, and I'm grateful that my schedule is flexible enough that getting a few days off will probably be doable.
