I've been out of touch. We went to Cyprus, and spent a week there. We stopped in Warsaw on the way and that was a few hours well spent. In Cyprus, there was much family time, and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
azure_armand and his mother, and my parents and my brother J and sis-in-law R and 2-year-old niece D. There was a pool and beach and very very ancient historical sites and slightly less ancient historical sites and a lot of good food. I drove on the left hand side of the road a lot and read The Kite Runner and played games on my iPhone (but strangely did not play any games with the family; this is essentially unprecedented). On the way home our flight from Chicago to Minneapolis was canceled on account of bad weather earlier that day; this was not altogether a bad thing as it gave us a bonus visit with tomscud & evaluna68. Now we are home, and I am amazed I have managed to stay up until 10:30, because I am dealing with 8 hours of time change. But I have to go to work tomorrow, so now I will go to bed.
While I was gone, I did not use the internet much. I scanned back over 200 entries and even though half of the people I used to read on here have essentially migrated to facebook, I still don't feel like I can catch up. Did I miss anything significant? (If I commented, you can guess that I noticed, and you don't have to rehash it for me here unless you want to.)
