We arrived safely in St. Paul, MN. Tomorrow is unpacking-the-truck day. Everything went fine. I have a hilarious/distressing cat story to tell later (don't worry, all has ended well). I am exhausted.

Glad you all made it in one piece! And I'm curious to hear the cat story - when I moved back from grad school, the poor traumatized cat refused to get in the carrier, and my car had no AC, and he kept trying to crawl under the clutch pedal. So my poor friend Haris, who was driving the moving van (he doesn't drive stick, and in fact barely drives at all) got stuck taking him. The cat spent most of the drive wrapped around Haris' neck. Haris was VERY stressed by the time we got to Chicago. (So much so that he didn't realize he was almost out of gas, which meant that the truck died at 1:00 a.m. in front of his mom's place. Luckily, my sister's boyfriend at the time was an on-duty cop, so he came and rescued us with a gas can.)
