figment: Photo from when I just finished a triathlon and felt victorious! (triathlete)

I am resolved that this week is going to be better than last week! I had a good day at work, and got a lot done. And then I decided that to really have things go right I went to the gym after work and I'm glad I did. I biked for 35 minutes (10.6 miles? I think? It was 10 miles in 32 minutes and then I cooled down) keeping my RPMs above 100 the whole time. Then I lifted some weights for a bit, stretched out a bit, and ran on the treadmill for the 20 minutes I had available (crowded gym). 15 minutes at "5" or a 12-minute mile, and then another 5 minutes at 3.8 or so. I went about a mile and a half. I was happy because I ran the whole first mile (I know it's not fast running but I don't care much about speed at this point, just endurance). Actually, I achieved both of my goals with this workout. And this was the first time I've run on the treadmill since Labor Day. Woo!

I feel really good, both about the workday and the workout. :-)

YAY for gym!! I was there last night also, though definitely not as productive as you. Its really hard to drag yourself over to the gym, but you almost never regret it once you get there =o)

Good for you too! (Also, would you like to be on my fitness filter? I post stuff about training for a triathlon on there.)
