Feb. 9th, 2009 09:43 pmI am resolved that this week is going to be better than last week! I had a good day at work, and got a lot done. And then I decided that to really have things go right I went to the gym after work and I'm glad I did. I biked for 35 minutes (10.6 miles? I think? It was 10 miles in 32 minutes and then I cooled down) keeping my RPMs above 100 the whole time. Then I lifted some weights for a bit, stretched out a bit, and ran on the treadmill for the 20 minutes I had available (crowded gym). 15 minutes at "5" or a 12-minute mile, and then another 5 minutes at 3.8 or so. I went about a mile and a half. I was happy because I ran the whole first mile (I know it's not fast running but I don't care much about speed at this point, just endurance). Actually, I achieved both of my goals with this workout. And this was the first time I've run on the treadmill since Labor Day. Woo!
I feel really good, both about the workday and the workout. :-)
