figmentTrip highlights, or I'll never do this. Already it's difficult and I'm referencing my calendar for help!
Friday 6/27: arrived in MN. Went almost directly to a little gathering for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
silmarian, which was great. Low key, nice to see jklumpp and weasel_king's house, also got to see barda. Immediately felt that renting a car was a Good Idea, as was bringing the GPS.
Saturday 6/28: we sawwhitefox77 and strawberry_tart that evening. It was great to see them, and see the kids, who have grown like kids do... but it seems so amazing when you see them at such intervals. There was wedding planning and dinner and fireworks.
Sunday & Monday 6/29: mostly family time, if I remember right. Sleeping in and at some point in there, hanging out withyaaren also happened.
Tuesday 7/3: I got to hang out withfayde and sinister_dr_x and eternallion. Verra nice time, low key and pleasant and lots of catching up and just shooting the shit.
Wednesday 7/2: helped out at the hotel a bit, dinner that night withminnehaha B & K, which was delectable and also featured excellent company, including tesla_aldrich.
Thursday through Sunday: all CONvergence all the time. I was on one panel, helped out with one room party, did shifts at Connie's Space Lounge and COF2E2, and managed to do a very brief Cabaret performance on Saturday night. I feel like I paced myself okay for the drunkenness and so on... It was fun, it was madness, it didn't include enough quality time with people one-on-one, but then, CONvergence almost never does. Which makes the time before hand all the more precious. I saw some great costumes and wished I was wearing something new/interesting. I got to see 16-year-olds fawn overazure_armand again as he was all Jarethed up, which I greatly enjoyed.
Monday we came home. I survived the trip and have made it through a few days of work.
