Well, I got my chance to vote today, and took it. Initially, I thought that voting this late wouldn't really have any significance... and because I live in DC it still may not, but it's closer to being meaningful than I would have thought.

I'm still excited to be a part of the democratic process. Does that make me naive?

I find it hard to get excited. I still find that I am voting more to keep the people I don't want in office out, than to get a person I like in.

If I felt that there was a candidate that represented my stance on the issues, was someone I felt would stick by their campaign promises, and was actually qualified to be the president, I would probably get excited.
