I guess I must be trying to increase my posting frequency.

I am totally stressed right now. Work has me putting together a day of events for the inauguration of the new AU president. That is... really busy because hey, it's a whole day of stuff, and also, it's in a week. A. Week. Argh.

I also have all of my normal job duties to attend to while I plan that. My to-do list is over thirty items long. And that's after all the things I did today.

In happier but no less stressful news, my evenings are busy too. Tonight I think will simply be a late night at work. Tomorrow may be the same. Thursday I am meeting to prep for the cool volunteer stuff I'm doing; that'll take me until at least 7; and then I might try to go join some gals for a showing of Atonement. I guess that'll be a day of dinner at the office. Friday has dubaiwalla's name all over it. Saturday we're taking our cat-sitter out for dinner to say thank you. These things are good, mind you, but I am feeling really busy.

It probably both helps, and doesn't help, that I drank coffee today. For me, coffee = revved up productivity, but also higher stress levels. Bleah.

So with that in mind I suggest you consider scheduling a massage and maybe a mani-pedi the day after he is invested to celebrate

The volunteer stuff - I'm co-facilitating an intercultural discussion group. Basically we get AU students from all over together and elicit discussions about culture and what culture's impact is on interactions etc. It should be fun! Every Thursday night for the rest of the semester is taken up with that.

You are so right about the massage (and hopefully about the rest). Azure gave me a massage gift certificate for Xmas. I should schedule it for sometime after next Tuesday!
