Jury duty today

Spent half the day sitting in a cold cold room, reading. Spent the other half sitting on a hard wooden bench, periodically jumping up, announcing my juror number, and telling the court something or other that may or may not disqualify me from being a juror. I get to come back tomorrow and do the hard-bench-jumping-up part all over again tomorrow - they haven't decided yet if I'm in the jury or not. And of course I can say nothing more about it until the decision is made (and if they pick me, then not for six weeks, until the trial is over!). But I really do hope they don't pick me, right now. I think.
I'm tired. Even though I worked on Labor Day, there's still stuff piled up at work for me (I know because I've checked my email). Most of it is not stuff I can do anything about from home, but I cannot bring myself to go in to the office tonight. I will just hope I'm dismissed tomorrow.
