Nov. 4th, 2010 09:58 amWho really won in the elections? This blog argues that it's really the corporations - not Republicans, Democrats, or even Tea Partiers. If you dislike that idea, it challenges you to join the consumer revolt of those who will only buy goods and services from companies with the goal of prospering, but only while promoting a sustainable, just and peaceful world.
I'm trying to do that, but I can use all the help I can get. Have a company you think is doing that you want to suggest? Or a tool to help evaluate companies? Share it!

(I posted this on facebook but thought it was... thoughtful enough to merit sharing here too. Hope you don't mind if you saw it twice.)

Date: 2010-11-05 02:18 pm (UTC)The CSR thing seems to be kinda greenwashing, I was just starting to check it out. I did find this:
http://www.responsibleconsumer.net/
Which is not impressing me too much yet but seems to be moving in the right direction.
It also reminded me of the Co-Op America's Green Pages:

More coming on this - I'm spending some of my morning digging into this. :-)
