Who really won in the elections? This blog argues that it's really the corporations - not Republicans, Democrats, or even Tea Partiers. If you dislike that idea, it challenges you to join the consumer revolt of those who will only buy goods and services from companies with the goal of prospering, but only while promoting a sustainable, just and peaceful world.

I'm trying to do that, but I can use all the help I can get. Have a company you think is doing that you want to suggest? Or a tool to help evaluate companies? Share it!

(I posted this on facebook but thought it was... thoughtful enough to merit sharing here too. Hope you don't mind if you saw it twice.)

My Christmas strategy this year is to buy as many gifts from the people who make them as I possibly can. Bonnie alerted me to a seasonal shop selling artist's work, including hers. She said, " There is a shop at Rosedale Center called Celebrate Art. It's located on the lower level, next to Penney's and will be open from Oct. 29th through December 27th. They are featuring consignments from over 40 local artists (myself included)."

More shopping opportunities like this are welcome!
