figmentI survived my first week at the new job. I made some mistakes, but I think they were not awful ones, and I think I understand how to not make them again.
I'm so tired, though. And I really need to get a lot of homework done this weekend. Especially since I am going to MN on Thursday. I have to admit mixed feelings about this trip. I am really happy to see people there, and it seems like I've been waiting forever to get to a MN Rollergirls bout. But I have so much homework to do, and having just started this new job it seems like a bad time to go anywhere. Well, the tickets are purchased; I'm going. I will try to find a way to balance my time having fun with the work I have to accomplish.
I ordered my graduation cripcrap, I mean, regalia. If I'm not mistaken, I just paid around $75 for the privelige of renting a bunch of stuff. I don't think I even get to keep the hood. Not that I'd know what to do with it, but still.

Date: 2006-04-11 05:59 pm (UTC)I have very little in the way of plans so far. We arrive Thursday afternoon; we have brunch plans Friday late-morning; Rollergirls (I think that's Saturday?), and nothing else. So yes, it'd be great to see you. I hope the cell # I have for you is still right..?
