Nov. 22nd, 2010 09:58 amIn brief, my weekend:
Friday night, clean like a madwoman.
Saturday, more cleaning followed by open house. Not exactly overrun by people but in the last hour, maybe 4-6 interested parties showed up. Hopeful that some of them apply. If you or someone you know might be interested in living in an artists' co-op in Lowertown St. Paul, please point them to http://www.lowertownlofts.org. Two lofts available, one roughly $16k and one roughly $18k!
Thanks to the friends who came by and visited during the open house, that made it more fun. We got to play Settlers of Catan, which I hadn't played in ages.
Then roller derby! Which was very exciting, but sad that the Rockits lost. Still, it was a really tight game for much of it and totally fun to watch.
Stopped in to Station 4 for a bit but was kind of done with large numbers of people & noise, so opted for a little post-derby hanging out at home with just a couple of people instead.
Sunday, wrote my Treasurer's report, went to the gym, and went to our annual co-op meeting. At which, thank heavens, someone else stepped forward to fill the Treasurer role! This is so wonderful and such a weight off my mind. I get to be off the Board. I don't have to deal with abusive members any more. The new person will be better at handling that without getting emotional. I'm so happy!
So then we played Rock Band because it's good to do something fun after a 3+ hour meeting. And it was good.
