Jul. 5th, 2009 09:16 pmCONvergence was pretty much as good as it could be, seeing as how I went into it exhausted. I got to see some wonderful people, cheer on my friends & fiance at the Cabaret, dance a lot, see some amazing costumes, have some tasty drinks, and contribute a little bit to the Space Lounge at least. I also got to have an awesome bachlorette (and bachelor; it was equal opportunity) party thing which began with a tea party and ended with a scavenger hunt game. And I got to join in the Second Breakfast Society, although I failed to contribute anything to it. The perils of not really having a kitchen yet. I did not go to any panels, which kind of sucks; I did not get very drunk, which is just fine with me; I did not help out at con as much as I would have liked to; I did not sleep enough; I did not get to see every performance I wanted to. Sorry, this is not an insightful, witty Con post. I am still too tired to tell good stories and honestly, it was kind of a quiet year for me in most ways - not full of hilarity, but instead with lower-key conversations and enjoyment. I count on others to be much more entertaining. ...go!
