Mosaic mirror frame.

I'm really happy with how this has come out (so far). It makes me think of the Varsity Theater, where we had our wedding reception, which is an aesthetic we aspire to a bit in our home decor and is also just a very happy memory!

Although a friend of mine at work taught me how to do this, I know she learned from a class from a local mosaic store - and she got a coupon to do that at a reduced price through groupon (before the whole unfortunate Super Bowl ad thing). I would bet that the Bay Area has some sort of mosaic stores - maybe they offer intro classes? It seems like you need a little instruction, but then you can easily go off on your own, with a few tools (tile "nippers" and grout and adhesive). I'd love to see your bike part mosaics!
