I hope I feel really inspired about my Things again soon. The last few days I have just been trying to think of something I could fit into my day in between ... everything else.

Easy, fun ideas that come to mind:
1. Decorate hair things. I know you probably don't use them much anymore, but maybe someone else would like decorated headbands, hair clips, etc. Easy to do with thread and a hot glue gun.

2. Make knee high socks into long fingerless gloves.

3. New user icon? Maybe of your new home? Or of a sleeping cat?

4. Home made valentines

Thank you! Those are good ideas. I have been thinking about the knee socks thing. I think one of my problems the last few days is that I have a lot of other things going on (last night, for example, I got home, had the first 45 minutes I have truly "wasted" on myself for a while; then washed dishes, prepped for a meeting, went to a meeting, came home, ate dinner, and by then it was 10 PM. Hard to fit in anything else, but I keep trying...

I have some left of the scarf that I made into a hat. I think it might become leg or arm-warmers. Maybe even both? Not sure how much I can stretch out of it.

Oh right. One of the other challenges Right Now is that I have this baby shower on Saturday, and the intention was for one of my gifts to be a baby sling. Those aren't hard to make but they do take an hour or two. I hope I manage to squeeze that in tonight... after our other plans.

*sigh*

I love being busy, but I think I am overdoing it. And I'm not sure where to cut back without feeling like I'm "failing". And I'm too self-demanding - a new user icon, for example, seems too "easy" to me. Why? Not sure.

It will probably get a bit better next week.

Maybe you plan to work on longer projects (the baby sling) over 2 days and you do quick projects (like the user icon or arm warmers) on day one and then you have the baby sling done by day 2?

Time management is sometimes difficult, but often worth it because then you feel good aobut what you are doing with your day.
