Multiplying a recipe by ten yields amusing results for someone like me (used to cooking for, say, 4, not 60). Ten onions. 20 tomatoes. 2 heads of garlic. A hand and a half of ginger. Five bags of dried chick peas. 20 bay leaves.
If you haven't realized this yet,
windelina and I are throwing a Bollywood room party at CONvergence on Thursday and Friday nights, in cabana room 223. There will be dance lessons! There will be sari demonstrations! There will be (faux) henna! There will be Bollywood Bingo! You can play dress-up and get a "movie star photo" taken! ...and yes, there will be a vat of curry the size of my torso.
