Rather than subject you all to the six-page-long stream-of-consciousness thing I've got going, rambling from job hunting angst to my lack of creative writing, I'm just going to share with you two things:
The muzak in the bathroom is really aggressively soothing.
I'm wearing a completely conservative outfit today, black suit and black heels, except that my shirt is bright green and my necklace is a shiny green frog.

Please to be posting pictures.

Best regards

Guy who would probably read six pages of stream-of-consciousness thoughts.

I keep thinking I should make time to write.

I've been making notes about things for a while, things that go around stories or rattle around in them, but I'm missing actual stories.

Maybe we should trade.
[No, I don't know what that means.]

"Agressively soothing." That may well be the most spot-on description of Muzak in general that I've ever heard.

I have the time but lack the inspiration. Actually, in all honesty, since college, that's been what's lacking: the burning desire, combined with the exciting plot ideas. I can write - I just feel like there's not something in me waiting to pour out. So I don't. And I know that the ideas come more freely if you actually make yourself write on a regular basis, so I'm sort of trying that, but all that's happening so far is stream-of-consciousness journaling. If we could trade ideas for time, that'd be cool. But I don't know how that would work.

I've thought about trying to write to fictional assignments--"write 3 pages about regret" or something--but I haven't tried it, and I'm not sure I could fool myself into doing it.
