Poker chips? Potato chips? If the poker chips are valid, that would be cool! I'm guessing it's potato chips, though. And people wonder why America is unhealthy! :)

Yes, this same organization also has Cake Day on a regular basis, during which it feeds six or eight cakes to the students who come by that day, and stocks a wide variety of sugar soda in the fridge for them to help themselves to.

It's okay, I suppose; from the local mega-grocery-store. But it seems like a problem to feed kids gobs of bad-for-you food. They never have fruit day or anything. Just cake.
