Short weekend update

Friday night: had dinner with Azure's cousin and his friend (in town visiting)
Saturday: baked bread. Made a new pair of pants. I'm very pleased with how they turned out; pictures soon. Went to a going-away party for a friend of mine from grad school; he's gotten a job with the BBC in London!
Sunday: lazy... finished another sewing project; pictures after it gets to its intended recipient. Eventually went to sorta-watch the Superbowl with friends J & K. As usual I mostly paid attention to the commercials and the socializing, and only minimally to the game. Left midway through 4th quarter. Nice time with friends. Prince's halftime show was great!

The one ad I heard about but didn't actually see was a proposal. I heard that some dude was going to propose to his girlfriend via a commercial at the SuperBowl but by the time we left, we had not seen anything of the sort.
