Very excited, of course, about the Democrats taking both House and Senate. Wow!!
Now, they have to do something with it. Good things. Make the next two years count, boys and girls, or else the 2008 election will really blow.

Uhh, it's okay. I'm trying to find a way to be excited about my job. I think I can find a way but I'm not sure what it is right now.

Home/Social:
Good. I wish I knew more people around here, but have a harder time than I used to, getting out and being social. Mmmph. Of course, when social plans do come up (as they are for this weekend) I can't resist them, which is great for the social life and bad for the paper-writing.

Scuba:
I still have water in my left ear from last night, drat it. That was our last pool session! Hooray. Next up: quarry. Brr.

Paper:
Yeah. It's still there. I'm carrying around wads of research with me. I'm also intent on taking at least 1 hour every morning to work on my writing for the next couple of weeks, and at least 3 hours each day this weekend. I HAVE to.

In short, still puttering along. It's really nice weather here right now - something like a high of 67 today. crazy!
