Wow, that was a really interesting analysis. He brought up a number of points I hadn't given much thought to. I did however find it to be pretty one sided.
If a person were walking through a park at night, and a mugger jumped out and tried to rob him, but instead of being robbed the guy beat the mugger half to death, who would be at fault??
You could argue that the person taking the walk may have overreacted to the situation. Even if he did, the mugger is the one who created the situation that led to his own beating, and is ultimately responsible for the incident.
I may disagree with some of his points, but enjoyed reading his point of view.
