Jan. 20th, 2006 06:01 pmI currently have nothing at all to do on Fridays. It's great. I love it.
Today, I got up and went to Busboys & Poets for breakfast with a friend at 10 AM. That was tasty, and the friend and I were productive and made some necessary plans. Good job, us!
I walked home and spent most of the rest of my day in one kind of slack or another - I finished a book (a trilogy, actually, Sheri S. Tepper's The True Game; it was pretty good), and played a lot of Warcraft III. (I am not playing World of Warcraft. I intend to never start. I need my time.) I spent a lot of time with one cat or another snuggled up next to me.
I also did some cleaning up and organizing of stuff. Which reminds me, there are things I want to get rid of. A long time ago, I asked if anyone wanted my probably-size-12 "Gothier than thou" dress. I believe that both
typhoid and
gingerpook said yes, but then neither gave me her address! So cough up your address, folks. Whoever gives me the address first wins the dress... assuming either of you still want it.
Oh yes. And
eatstoomuchjam, can you get your friend who wants my camera to send me his address and so on? I can't very well send the camera without that...
Anyway, it was a delightfully slack day, with spots of productivity. I just did some mending I've been needing to do (I hate mending and put it off indefinitely). And I have a party at a friend's place tonight to look forward to. I could be quite happy if every Friday was somewhat like this!
Also, update on the class situation - I decided to try adding another course in the school of communication on public advertising or some such. We'll see - it meets on Tuesdays - I hope it's good!
Have a good weekend, everyone.

Date: 2006-01-21 03:43 am (UTC)There are a few good things about not working.... It's a good thing I caught my lj name JUST before I had to leave to pick up gunthar.
May I have your address? Would you please send it to ginger underscore pook (at) yahoo dot com? I had it at some point, I'm sure. *raspberry*
