(no subject)

Our internet at home is down, because Verizon is stupid. It's amazing how weird it feels to not have my little electronic IV dripping down into me at all times.

But probably because of the lack of connectivity, I had a really productive day yesterday, sewing a lot of projects. Right now we're at a coffee shop, but when we get back home I hope to have a similar productive time until we head to lunch with tomscud and evaluna68 and dubaiwalla.

But still. Verizon = stupid. If you want to reach me, you'd better call.

PSAs

We're going to be in MN for Christmas and New Year's, and the birthdays in between. We arrive on December 22 and leave January 2. I look forward to seeing a lot of you during that time.

If you're in DC, we'd love to see you before we leave; we're planning on spending the 20th and 21st doing nothing but fun holiday related things in DC. I think we're going to try to go ice skating on the National Mall on Thursday.

Like a lot of people, for many reasons, this is going to be a low-gift season for me. Unless you're family or nearly family, I probably am not planning on giving you anything, and I'd be very happy to have no gifts from you other than the gift of your company.

Despite having lots to say about this year, it's not going to be a holiday-card year for us. We've just not been able to get it together. Sorry.
