I am so glad it's the weekend. The last week has been rough. Actually, the whole semester has been pretty stressful. I keep thinking that "next week will be easier" and it has yet to come true. Hopefully it will finally come true next week... but I have a feeling that the fight against bureaucracy is not over yet.

Because it's the weekend, I slept in. Until almost noon. Hooray! I have spent the day in a deliciously relaxed mode. I made omeletes. I worked on art projects and have now finished two. I checked reviews for, and then ordered online, a serger. I'm really excited about that; it will make my sewing life much happier. Man, I love sergers. azure_armand made me a fabulous coffee drink and now I am much more awake. I paid bills. I am still in my pajamas.

Tonight is a housewarming party. Tomorrow we are going to the Maryland Ren Fest and then to a belly dancing performance. So I'm glad I had my slack day today, because tomorrow won't be one!

Sounds like a nice weekend. I am leaving in an hour or so for a fall leaves road trip with Becca. We're going to Taylor's Falls and Stillwater. Though cool it's beautiful here today.
