(no subject)

Camping pictures are up here.

And please, help me identify - What is this? It was about an inch long.

Also, here's hoping today is better than yesterday, which was really awful, and apparently not just for me. Was it something in the air?

great pics... looks like you all had the beach to yourselves, that is so nice!

There were a few other people from time to time, but it was really quiet. Very nice!

Great pictures! I especially like the seaweed (thanks for taking those) and the sunset shots.

It looks like a velvet ant to me.

:-) Glad to.

By the way, we look forward to visiting you (and [livejournal.com profile] pants_of_doom, and another friend of ours who's moved out there) in Boston sometime at the end of this year/beginning of next...

let us know when! if you are not already staying with pants or said other friend, and we have no other guests, you will be welcome to stay in my apartment (i can stay with z). hotels are much too expensive here.

I think it's a Cowkiller. Used to see them in my Insect book when I was a kid and think they were really cool (but the "killer" part of the name freaked me out)..

[identity profile] birdfigment.livejournal.com 2007-08-15 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
I think (from the whatsthatbug site [livejournal.com profile] jodi referenced above) that the "killer" part of the name comes from its nasty sting - which makes you and me very reasonable to be wary of them!

Those sunset pictures are AMAZING! Wow.

It was really pretty to watch. You and D should go camping with us sometime soon!
