Things 4 and 5

Thing 4 was an earwarmer for Azure.

I'm not super pleased with it - I think it could be improved a lot - but it's warm.

Thing 5 was a ninja hoodie for me!

Mostly, I like how this came out. I redid the back of it to make it fit/work better, which was a pain but worth it. If/when I make another, I would probably cut the hood/cowl a little wider. Not much though.
It's possible I'll go back to this and put a couple of embellishments on it, but for now it's done enough to be my day's Thing!

I've been thinking about making something like this that was lighter, and sleevless for running. When I run outside and it is still cold out I get hot and sweaty, but my chest/throat get cold from the sweat/wind/shadow and I usually feel sick when I'm done.

Anyway, it looks really cool!

It was easy to make, except that the first time I cut the back too short. Then when I put it on I was irritated and kept wanting to pull the back down. Lesson: cut the back longer than you think you want it, you can always shorten it. :-)
Thankfully I had plenty of fleece so I could cut a new back, but of course this meant I had to rip out all of the seams around it and sew it in...

Are you thinking that your running thing would basically be a short vest/tank top with a cowl/hood?
