Reception venues

All right, Twin Citians: what are some cool places to have a reception?

Any suggestion is welcome, but if more details help:
- 150 people, probably
- dancing is a must, band is not required
- must be legal to have alcohol there
- will be at night (8 PM or later)
- bonus points for artsy, off-beat, etc.

I can ask my brother if he'd be willing to lend his spacious basement, though most likely you can do better...

The New Years party at the Rogue Buddha gallery (http://www.roguebuddha.com/) was pretty darn nice. I recommend also the Varsity Theater (http://www.varsitytheater.org/) in Dinkytown, though I haven't used such a thing for a party myself.
