Orange cake recipe?

The Joy of Cooking has a recipe for an orange cake. I'm pretty sure it's vegan. It's delicious. I want to make it tomorrow!

But I am in MN and my cookbook is in DC.

Does anyone have a copy and are you, oh pretty please, willing to find the recipe for me and give it to me? You could post it in a comment, or email it to me, or you could call me with it if you know my number.

Any help would make me really happy. Thanks!

Edit: Got it! Orange cake will be made tomorrow. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure this is the one you're thinking of:

Ultra-Orange Cake (vegan)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour one 8x8 inch pan, or line the bottom with wax or parchment paper.

Wisk together throughly in a large bowl:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Add and stir together until smooth:
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
1 tablespoon white or cider vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Scrape the batter into the pan and spread evenly. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 30-35 minutes. Let cool in the pan on a rack for 10 minutes. Slide a thin knife around the cake to detach it from the pan. Invert the cake and peel off the paper liner, if using. Let cool right side up on rack.

Mind if I use this? I may have time to make a cake for New Years party at Gunn's and she is vegan now and loves citrus.

It only matters if The Joy of Cooking minds.

I've been told she posted and invite a while ago, in some veague sense. I figured I'd show up and see if other people show up and then we'll just call it a party. ;)

Use it and feel free! But! The recipe also includes 1 C of sugar. mix it in with the other dry stuff and you should be good.

Oh yes. Also the cake is very sticky (also very moist) so using parchment paper is your best bet but if you have none then really oil and flour the pan thoroughly before you add the batter.
