The weekend was filled with wedding - ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
daviathan and msmaryclare got hitched! azure_armand and I were delighted to meet some new folks and partake in a truly original wedding. It was up there with windelina and montecristobo's movie theater/vintage wedding for originality: set in an old amusement park, in a vintage bumper car pavillion, with a kind of carnival theme to the whole thing that worked amazingly well. What fun!
Other than wedding-related things, we did a little accruing of moving karma today, and I cooked up a storm, using up vegetables and stocking us up for the week. I made baba ghannouj for the first time and it came out really well! Even though I don't have a grill; I had to "grill" the eggplant under the broiler.
We bought plane tickets to go to Michigan for Thanksgiving, where we will have Thanksgiving with my folks. They are very seldom in the States for extended periods of time or for Thanksgiving, so it'll be fun to be able to see them both for Turkey Day and for Christmas.
In other other news, it was the autumnal equinox this weekend. It didn't really feel like it here; too warm and even muggy on Saturday. But I'm going to go light a couple of pumpkin-pie spice candles, and pretend.
