Consider -Theaters (Like the reception that I went to at Valley of the Dolls') -Museums, one of the most memorable receptions I've ever been to was in the Children's museum in St. Louis. The entire bridal party went down 2 story slides in the building. - How many kids will be coming. Mansions, may be great places to have receptions but if you have lots of kids coming then someplace with lots of ornate breakables might not be the best bet.
